- Timber Taxation Assistance:
(1) The IRS allows a Timber Depletion Deduction from timber sale revenue. We can help landowner reduce taxable gain (and tax!).
(2) Establish a Timber Account Basis (Timber Volume, Value) at time of purchase/inheritance or retroactively to meet IRS specifications.
(3) We will help landowner apply for Conservation Use/Current Use Land Assessment (property taxes).
- Fall Line can assess land for Conservation Use ad valorem property tax breaks (reduction) in States/Counties where that classification exists, writing the Management Plan generally required for that tax status.
- Assistance with Estate Planning, minimizing estate taxes. Assist in establishment of Trusts which include a Timberland component.
- Selective Timber Marking (Subdivision / Pre-Development Timber Thinning) -- Produce timber income while protecting land aesthetics

- Supervision of Logging Operations, Logging Road Layout.
- Appraise carbon sequestration/capture and help landowner apply for and monetize carbon credits
- Reforestation of Open Areas with Seedlings, Natural Regeneration Techniques for thinned forests.
- Promotion of Wildlife, Protection of Watersheds, Hardwood and Pine Species Management.
- Negotiation and supervision of hunting clubs and Hunting Lease Agreements to provide annual income for landowners. SAMPLE HUNTING LEASE
- Negotiate and supervise pine straw raking contractors and Agreements in areas where those markets exist.
- Comprehensive Written, Long-Term Management Plans in cooperation with Landowner.
- Aerial Photography Analysis / Interpretation and Stand (Cover Type) Mapping.
- Inspection for Disease / Insects -- knowledgeable in control techniques.
- Boundary Line Maintenance, Wildfire Protection.
