• Timber Taxation Assistance:
  (1) The IRS allows a Timber Depletion Deduction from timber sale revenue.  We can help landowner reduce taxable gain (and tax!).
  (2) Establish a Timber Account Basis (Timber Volume, Value) at time of purchase/inheritance or retroactively to meet IRS specifications.
  (3) We will help landowner apply for Conservation Use/Current Use Land Assessment (property taxes).

• Fall Line can assess land for Conservation Use ad valorem property tax breaks (reduction) in States/Counties where that classification exists, writing the Management Plan generally required for that tax status.
